Thanks for sharing Cheyenne Frontier Days with us, it brought back a lot of fond memories. I grew up in Colorado & every summer without fail my mom, dad & I would drive up for all the fun. We went so much back in the 70's & 80's, it's a true core memory. We would get there early for the parade, spend the whole day watching the rodeo, shopping the booths & going on rides. Then we'd go to the night concerts. I remember as a girl seeing Tanya Tucker, The Oakridge Boys, Pam Tillis, The Judd's & so many more. I'm in Oklahoma now & seeing some mountains from your Wyoming footage is making me miss home back in Colorado. Have you all visited Estes Park in Colorado yet? Usually there are plenty of moose that just wander through people's yards. If you have time to wander up I-70 into the mountains you'll pass by my favorite little mountain town called Georgetown. It's nestled in a valley with the mountains rising all around it. A little road through town will take you up a mountain that overlooks Georgetown & many times you share the road with some beautiful big horn sheep. The Georgetown Loop Train ride is fun but pricey & the Royal Gorge is a must too. Enjoy yourself in the gorgeous state of Colorado. I miss it so much & look forward to your Colorado videos. 😊
Oooo thanks for the suggestions. We went to Estes to grab sandwiches but did t get to explore because we had our dog (long story). We drove through Rocky Mountain National Park.
Since you are in Colorado Springs, you should check out the Flying W Ranch. It is a lot of fun and they have some Native American Dancers too. I am glad you are feeling better!!
You would be more comfortable if your collar flanges were more splayed out. You can put yr hand under the back side of the collar and push all the way around on the bottom front of your collar.
Love your intro music today. Would like to get it in my Playlist. As always informative. I'm so happy to see you doing so well. We travel through that area a lot, it is a very nice area.
Thank you so much! It's a service that licenses private artist music. I think what you might be talking about is called Dontcha Wanna by Gabriel Kelley. Maybe you can find it out there streaming somewhere.
Hi guys. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your travels with us. Question, Barry have you ever thought of saying bye bye to the beard? You are very handsome and I think the beard ages you. lol Suzanne - Virginia
Beautiful scenery. I’m so glad you are feeling better. Great news from the Doctor. I will be praying you get even better news in two weeks. It’s such a blessing to live the rv life like us and yourselves. Enjoy and stay safe.
Living just a step away in Nebraska, we have always wanted to visit beautiful Wyoming. One day we will! Thank you for sharing your adventures! So good to hear that your neck is doing so much better. What a scare for you! Blessings and safe travels!
We just drove through the Snowy Range today! We live in Laramie, and we love exploring that area. Check out the Lake Hattie area the next time you are in Laramie, there is boondocking out there, and you have a gorgeous view of the Snowy Range, we just drove there today too! No trip through the Snowy Range is complete without a stop in Centennial at the ice cream shop, check it out the next time you come through. Glad you are doing better.
Stay safe and heal. We are going to catch up with you guys sometime. Preparing our Launch and getting the new rig ready! Maybe we can rendezvous in WY.
Such good news. So exciting for you. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I enjoying learning about boondocking even though we dont really boondock. We dont have solar.
I competed at Cheyanne, Wyoming when I was young. It was not at The Frontier Days. It was a national youth rodeo organization. They had their National Finals there that year. That must have been quite the experience.
Just wanted to follow up with our thanks for the tips on this area for boondocking! We ended up in a spot in the Pilot Hill area but driving around we went and visited you guys spot on telephone road. Hope Darlene is feeling better, and hope to meet some fellow Allys out on the road sometime!
Awesome video! My wife wants to go to this place once we go full time. Looking for a truck and Rv now. Question for you guys. With your style of RVing. How many miles do you put on your truck per year? Per month? How ever you record it. Thanks in advance for all the great info you give your community. We love it
Hi and welcome. We appreciate your feedback and joining our journey. We don't closely track all the miles. Just taking the miles from RV Life (our trip planning software). We traveled 6491 miles in 2023. 2024 will be way more, probably around 10K. This is just destination to destination. Not including driving while we are there. I'll try and track it for next years budget recap. If it helps, we purchased the truck in May 22 and the miles are now 43K. We didn't drive it much until we left to go full-time in Aug 22. We had a cross country trip from CA to IN to get an unexpected repair. That coast us dearly in miles.
I am thrilled as to how much better you look and sound! Praise God! Driving down Telephone Rd, was your spot on the right (south side) or the left (north side)? Were you before FR 713 (Camp Carey Rd) or after? I have a big rig (GD Reflection, 34') and scouted out that road last year (I live in Fort Collins). Just haven't had a chance this year yet to go up there. Would be good to know which spot you had - I promise, I would move if you guys ever showed up 😁.

You look and sound 1000x better than the first video after the accident. So thankful 🙏 ✝️for the good report from the doctor.
Thank you. I’m getting there.

We didn’t either when we got started. It was an evolution lol
OUTSTANDING~
Snowy Range Byway was a high light of our trip in 2023. We also got to see moose on our drive. Glad you also enjoyed it.
We can’t wait to go back.

That must have been quite the experience.
That is so cool.
Madonna Therapy in Lincoln Nebraska is the only place I would take a family member to for neuro-therapy!!
Fun fact about the lincoln statue at that rest stop- they put tires over his ear like big earcovers in the winter!
Now I’m gonna have to go there in the winter to see that! lol Thanks for this fun fact

That is awesome! so glad it was helpful. hope our paths will cross soon.
Happy no surgery!!!
Snowy Range!! That’s my stomping grounds
Glad you saw a neurologist and said no surgery.
So happy u don’t have to have surgery Darlene.
Thank you. I feel very fortunate.
Come here in the half the year there is 80mph to 100mph straight winds. You will enjoy it.
This is why it's nice to have a home on wheels... you move when it gets too windy, cold, stormy. We lucked out. Not that windy during our two weeks.

lol go pull the coordinates from the description. That’ll show you exactly where we were. I’m terrible with remembering.
